My favorite place in the whole world is the Mattatuck Scout Reservation in Plymouth, CT. Mattatuck is a 569 acre Scouting America camp that offers annual summer camp, plus programs and rentals during the rest of the year.
I have made incredible friendships and connections and learned more than can be articulated. I currently am the Business Manager during the summer and serve as the Publicity Officer on the Executive Committee of the Mattatuck Volunteers. I have also worked on several projects for camp, including creating a custom computerized maintenance management system (commonly abbreviated as CMMS; I like to call it the "Camp Mattatuck Maintenance System") and a complete redesign and overhaul of camp's website.
