I spend a lot of time volunteering at robotics events, specifically at FIRST events. I also volunteer with the Tolland County Robotics Foundation. To date (8/24/26), I have attended 84 FIRST events, including 66 "official" events. I have volunteered at 52 events, most frequently as of late as a Game Announcer.
I also competed on FIRST teams from when I was in fourth grade through my senior year of high school. I spent one year in FIRST LEGO League Junior (now known as FLL Explore), one year in FIRST LEGO League (now known as FLL Challenge), two years in FIRST Tech Challenge, and five years competing in FIRST Robotics Competition, or FRC. My time in FRC was spent on Team MAX (team number 1071). While I was on the team, I served in a variety of roles, including Business Lead, Head of Marketing, and Drive Coach. Some highlights of my time on the team include winning the most prestigious award, the FIRST Impact Award, seven times (including three times at the New England District Championship) and winning the Waterbury District event in 2023. While on Team MAX, I took on a variety of tasks, including building our website, running social media, and overseeing all activities that didn't directly involve the robot.
